What is anarchy? Anarchy is a contronym in the crooked tongue that is the English language. According to the dictionary, it have a positive connotation and and equally negative connotation. The etymology of of the word means “without a ruler”. It does NOT mean orderlessness, chaos, nor violence.
True freedom cannot exist under a system of rulership. It doesn’t matter if you slap the word democracy on it or not. Democracy does not equal freedom. This is the one thing that peter thiel and I agree on. However, thiel doesn’t want freedom for you, he only wants freedom for himself. He wants you to either serve him or be extinct. theil loves to talk about freedom for those who look like him, act like him, and have money like him. And he wants the freedom to eliminate all that don’t meet that criteria, i.e. you and me.
To co-exist peacefully without a system of rulership requires integrity, discipline, and self-governance. This requires the courage of Mars, the synergy of Venus, the open communication of Mercury, the self-restraint of Saturn, and the wisdom of Jupiter. It requires that we be king and lionheart to and for ourselves—, epitomizing grace, benevolence, and tolerance. Are you up to the task? I believe you are.
—Disclaimer: In the current climate, I feel I have to keep re-iterating, when I speak of freedom and anarchy, I don’t mean taking down our government by force and having chaos reign. I certainly don’t mean an autocrat should swoop in and undermine our constitutional rights and dismantle what is intended to provide at least some semblance of a free state. True freedom comes when we cultivate the values and emotional intelligence required to be free. When we reach that point, our governing bodies will dissolve naturally and peacefully, because they simply are no longer needed. But we are not there yet, so in the meantime, we very much need a democratic government. At this time, we very much need to demand that our government and constitution remain intact.
