I’ve been saying the world is on fire for awhile now, since prior to the first Trump election. My entire life, I’ve witnessed a bad situation get worse, albeit with big and amazing gains, here and there. I saw the way corporate mega-millionaires, were chipping away at our democracy by weaving themselves into our social services and military. Now those mega-millionaires are billionaires. Let that sink in. A billion dollars is not a step up from a million. It’s a whole freaking staircase. No, actually it’s more like 10 staircases. It is an amount of money that most working class Americans, including myself, cannot comprehend, even if they think they can.
Because of our belief in and our agreement to, the privatization of land, there simply is not enough land left to satisfy the billionaire class that we now have. (I’m not purposefully trying to bash on the billionaire class, keep following the blog to get the full perspective. These are just the facts.) According to the Forbes Billionaire list, currently in 2025, we have 3,028 billionaires on planet Earth. An increase of 247 from 2024. That’s just one year. Money does not magically fall from the sky, so where does all of this money come from? It comes from the pockets of people like you and me. The people who are the majority and the core base of the wealthiest nation in the world. It comes from us having to make up their share of the tax base. It comes from the taxes we do ante-up, being funneled into their businesses and their so-called charitable institutions. It comes from us exchanging our time and labor for a rate that is inadequate for our basic needs, totally negating our own right to comfort.
Think about that. We are giving, and giving, and giving, totally subsidizing the billionaire class lifestyle, for a promise of a trickle-down effect that never, ever materializes. Not once in our recorded history has this so called trickle-down effect, ever materialized. For those who think the giving economy is absurd, we already have one.
In our culture, enough is never enough. And since we are talking about billions of dollars, the argument that there is not enough land to satisfy, holds. Those 3,028 billionaires certainly contain enough wealth to hoard the majority of habitable land.
When we collectively agree that it is OK for individuals to amass gross amounts of land and wealth, we collectively agree for the majority of our demographic (to the tune of 7 billion people give or take) to be poor, totally forfeiting our own comfort, safety, and security, to make it all possible. Remember, poverty and the lack of housing and security for BILLIONS of people is definitely going to create an unsafe and inadequate environment for all of us.
The Zodiac teaches us what values we need to peacefully and gracefully transition to a truly free state, through the archetypes of the inner planets of our solar system—the planets we can see with the naked eye, without any scientific instruments. Those values are:

* The English language is quite limited in its ability to convey the concepts and archetypes contained within the zodiac formula. It’s almost impossible with the use of just one word. When I say “openness” I mean with an open mind and open heart.
**In modern astrology we hear that Venus wants material wealth and compromise. Both are false. Everything in our world has a correspondence with the seven bodies of the zodiac. So we can say, compromise and material wealth falls within the domain of Venus, but it’s not what she wants. Its not her end goal. Her goal is for us to develop the character trait of actively seeking out and finding our way to the win-win. In this manner, no one has to compromise, including our Mother Earth. No one has a reason to be disgruntled and resentful, and harmony reigns, quietly, efficiently running in the background of our lives on auto-pilot. I don’t have a word for the character trait of prioritizing and actively seeking out symbiosis in our relationship with the Earth and our relationships with one another. If you know of a word that represents this in any language, please let me know what that word is.
The Moon and the Sun represent emulating divinity—the ineffable process that gives us life. Therefore, the first step to a free and just society and the most sacred value we must hold as a collective, is to value being co-creators with that ineffable force. The five planets are tasked with ensuring that our contribution to this divine collaboration, produces something that is actually divine.
When you sacrifice the 40 most productive hours of every week to subsidize the billionaire class, it is almost impossible to step-up as a co-creator. Sacrificing our own creativity is a huge blow to our psyche, sense of self, and emotional well-being.
To be free, we have to start prioritizing the collective. To do that we must see our connectedness, regardless of the class system we currently find ourselves in. We need to shift our current economic model to allow all of us to be active co-creators infusing everything we create with trust, harmony, intellect, integrity, and wisdom. I’m not proposing to entirely transition from mass production to local craftmanship. I expect a more balanced hybrid model will emerge. I don’t think the way forward looks like the past, although some skills most certainly need to be reclaimed.
My hope is that the billionaire class open their minds to the awareness that their lives would be enriched by letting go of the need to amass that which is not needed and not healthy for anyone, including themselves. A lasting legacy for the collective is a legacy you can be proud of. My hope is that the working class stop demeaning one another for not giving enough; to stop shaming poor people for accepting scrap subsidies, while praising the farmer and the billionaire, (who receive far greater amounts from our tax dollars); and to begin to recognize their own value and reclaim their right to security, comfort, and agency over their time—to begin to find ways to monetize themselves.
The technology we have at this moment in time, those big and amazing gains, I mentioned at the beginning of this post, make the shift plausible. Humanity is now better positioned, than at any other time in our recorded history, to take true agency over our lives. The time is now. Be free.

In the current climate, I feel I have to keep re-iterating, when I speak of freedom and anarchy, I don’t mean taking down our government by force and having chaos reign. I certainly don’t mean an autocrat should swoop in and undermine our constitutional rights and dismantle what is intended to provide at least some semblance of a free state. True freedom comes when we cultivate the values and emotional intelligence required to be free. When we reach that point, our governing bodies will dissolve naturally and peacefully, because they simply are no longer needed. But we are not there yet, so in the meantime, we very much need a democratic government. At this time, we very much need to demand that our government and constitution remain intact.
